The September West Metro Civil Service Committee meeting will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, September 12.
Join us for a traditional "washing in" ceremony for our newest apparatus- Tender 6. The tender is West Metro's first, and we'd love to have your help in placing her into service.
The event is Saturday, August 12 at 9am at our Station 4 - 13155 W. Alameda Parkway in Lakewood. Take a tour of the station, visit with firefighters, and see some fire engines up close!

For the 25th year in a row, the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) has awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to West Metro Fire Protection District for the District's 2021 annual comprehensive financial report (ACFR). The report was judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive "spirit of full disclosure" to clearly communicate an agency's financial story and make it accessible to the residents and businesses it serves.
May is Wildfire Awareness Month, and West Metro is holding a series of fire station open houses to help you learn how to stay safe.

Medical emergencies can happen at any time. In West Metro’s district, nearly 70% of all our calls are medical emergencies. Sometimes, the situation is non-life threatening. But often- seconds can mean the difference between life and death.
West Metro firefighters responded to a record number of calls in 2022 and the district added new resources to maintain a high level of service.
The West Metro Fire Rescue Board of Director's meeting will be held virtually in January 2023.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 pm on Tuesday, January 17.

The two juvenile males wanted for 1st Degree Murder after a fire killed a mother and daughter early Halloween morning have been arrested.
On 10/31/22 at approximately 4:15 A.M., Lakewood Police and West Metro Fire were called to the Tiffany Square apartment building at 935 Sheridan Blvd. for reports of a large structure fire. At least 14 units suffered fire damage, with all residents of the 32 units being displaced.
West Metro has completed a proposed budget for 2023. The budget will be considered for approval by the Board of Directors during the board's December 6th meeting. The public will be able to comment on the budget at the board's November 15th meeting. All board meetings begin at 6:30 pm at the fire district's administrative offices- 433 South Allison Parkway.
